Poetry Discussion Soothes the User’s Soul
I know that everyone loves poetry, if not in writing maybe in reading. It is very true that poetry adds spices to life. When you read beautiful poems and share it to other people, what kind of emotion do you feel? Is it something pleasant or disturbing? Mine here is just simple speculation of how poetry and poetry discussion affects most of the participants.
Poetry discussion, whether actual or an online type of discussion, is much valued by many people especially those who really have similar interests in poetry. Many websites are on the verge of placing particular programs for poetry discussion. Most of them share the same idea of placing poetry discussion as part of their site. These poetry discussion websites are mostly concerned on helping the website users and those who enjoyed poetry discussion to share their different thoughts and feelings toward poetry and for them to receive feedback from the other poetry discussion users.
Poetry discussion, as it is simply defined is actually a forum across the internet for poetry lovers to discuss various topics regarding poetry amongst each other. The users in poetry discussion can post poems for the other poetry discussion participants to read and to create feedback, discuss a particular user’s poetry or other’s, and anything else that the users may desire through any web-based poetry discussion board. Through poetry discussion, the users will be able to chat with the other poetry lovers.
In some cases in poetry discussion, the participants add their criticisms by posting a block of text to the group. Other uses can then create a feedback and respond. During the early days of the internet, as it is noted, the most common type of poetry discussion group is through the use of Usenet, but as the years go on with its course, poetry discussion mostly happens over the World Wide Web. The poetry discussion groups unlike the chat rooms and instant messaging typically deal with topics related to poetry only. It is necessary to remember that as a participant in a poetry discussion, a user should realize that what he/she has to say will be publicized. And poetry discussions are intermittently considered as the best way to find answers to a very obscure question regarding poetry.
It is very interesting to know that some people find poetry or poetry discussion soothing to their souls. Sometimes the people write poetry and participate in poetry discussion as a way of voicing out their anger or frustration, and sometimes one of the few ways to tell the truth. In fact, it is really nice to feel that poetry discussions somehow create an impact on someone’s life.
